Top 4 Strollers for Twins

If you have infant twins or are expecting them, you need a double stroller. Trust me when I tell you–it’s essential! And with all of the options available these days, choosing a double stroller can be extremely overwhelming. That is why I put together my favorite list of top four strollers for twins.

We started out with Joovy Twin Roo+.  This stroller is very lightweight with excellent storage underneath.  You can get adapters to snap in both car seats easily.  Plus it has cup holders…did anyone say “coffee”??

The only downside is that it’s a little long and doesn’t have all-terrain wheels.  But it fits through doorways and narrow spaces easily.  This stroller was great during the first few months of the twins’ lives when they were too young to have any head control in a regular reclining stroller.  If you need to run errands, you just snap both car seats into the stroller and go on your way!

I can’t tell you how many times I pushed this thing through the halls of Children’s Hospital in Boston. Those were some trying times but I’m glad I had items like this to make my life a little easier.

If you arrange both car seats facing the same way side by side, you can easily feed the twins at the same time.  I recommend that momma sit for this to avoid those triceps burning!

This stroller is awesome.  I researched SO.  MANY.  STROLLERS.  After seeing all of the great reviews and testing it out for myself, the City Mini GT2 Double side-by-side stroller was the one we decided on!

Many people have trouble deciding between a tandem stroller and a side-by-side. The reason I chose side-by-side was because I knew we’d have the stroller for a few years and I did not want the kids to fight over who got to sit in the front and who sat in the back.  I also wanted both kids to be able to see the world in front of them, unobstructed.  Lastly, I wanted it to be as easy as possible to load them in and out.

The City Mini GT2 fits through almost all standard doorways.  The all-terrain tires are “never flat” which means you never have to put air in them and they won’t go flat.  The stroller glides like butter over bumpy sidewalks, grass, gravel, and basically anywhere.  I can literally push and steer it with one hand.

I want to say that the Baby Jogger City Mini is NOT a jogging stroller. When I began researching, I was under the impression that it was a jogging stroller, due to the brand name “Baby Jogger”.  However, you can push this stroller effortlessly!

The seats almost fully recline.  The UV 50 canopy shades with peekaboo windows are huge and do a great job shielding the kids from the sun.  There’s an adjustable handlebar and hand-operated parking brake that provide comfortable steering and control.  There are tons of accessories like a glider board and parent console you can add to the stroller but I’ll admit they are pretty pricey to add.  I wish the stroller came with more standard accessories since it’s an expensive stroller to begin with.

Another awesome feature of the City Mini GT2 Double is that you can purchase adapters to snap your car seats (certain brands) in until you’re ready to have both kids sit directly in the seats!  We had the Chicco KeyFit 30 car seats.  The stroller is roomy and comfortable yet small enough to manage, durable, rugged, easy to fold, and easy to store.

The downside to this stroller is the lack of storage underneath.  There is a storage basket but not very large or accessible. And although easy to fold and store, it can sometimes be a little heavy to lift depending on who’s doing the lifting.

The stroller weighs about 35 lbs and costs approximately $599 plus tax, depending on which color you select.  There are some beautiful colors to choose from.  In my opinion, you could realistically use this stroller for kids up until 5 years old!

THIS STROLLER IS MY #1 PICK IN MY TOP 4 STROLLERS FOR TWINS!

The Zoe Twin+ is unbelievably lightweight, the seats fully recline, the UV 50 sun shades with peekaboo windows are awesome, the storage basket underneath is huge and accessible, there are plenty of useful and affordable accessories to choose from, the company is wonderful to deal with, it comes in a variety of beautiful colors, it’s modern and classy looking, fits through standard doorways, and is Disney approved!

For a double stroller, I can literally lift it with one hand and toss it in the back of my minivan.  It’s that light, weighing in at 19 lbs!  FOR A DOUBLE STROLLER!

The ZOE Twin+ doesn’t take up much trunk space and is easy to fold. We purchased the belly bar which my kids love.  When they were bigger infants, they enjoyed putting their feet up on it. The belly bar also supports them when they want to lean forward and look out.

This stroller can accommodate kids from ages 3 months through 45lbs!  It was a lifesaver for my husband and I.  Not having to struggle with a bulky stroller when running quick errands with two babies/toddlers was so nice!  It made getting our twins in and out of the minivan a breeze.  Plus the kids love riding in it.  Ours was a fun camouflage print.

The ZOE Twin+ is IDEAL for everyday use.

We purchased a ZOE travel bag made particularly for the double side-by-side and used it when we flew with our two young toddler twins.  Having the stroller at the airport significantly reduced our stress level and we were able to quickly put it in the travel bag and check it at the gate when boarding the plane.

If you are trying to decide on a stroller for your twins and can only pick one, the Zoe Twin+ is it!

This Baby Trend Double Snap N Go stroller is super convenient and lightweight with ample storage below! Just click both infant car seats right in and off you go. A snap-and-go stroller makes running errands or doctor’s appointments much easier with twins and it’s a must-have during the first year. And it comes with cup holders!
